A popular route is from the Brick Township to the Sandy Hook Peninsula. While the route is 36 miles one way, you can do as little of it or as much of it as you want.

Tent City
Surrounding the Great Auditorium is what is known as “Tent City.” Each summer 114 tents are placed around the auditorium, a tradition that dates back to 1869. The canvas tents are attached to wooden cottages and used as living rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchens. Outside, tiny porches provide just enough room for two lawn chairs and a small table. It’s truly one of the more unique things to do during your weekend in Ocean Grove.
