About the Manasquan River Greenway
Reaching over 517 acres along the Manasquan River, this preserved open space provides river access for fishermen and boaters with canoes and other small watercraft. There are multiple ways to access the river for fishing, paddling, canoeing. The access points include Southard Avenue, West Farms Road, Ketchum Road, and Haven Bridge Road.
Fisherman’s Cove Conservation Area
This 55-acre area is great for fishing, walking on the beach, and bringing your dog. The area can get very crowded, so plan ahead, or get there early.
Gull Island
For all you birdwatchers out there, Gull Island is a conservation area that is the perfect spot for birding. Make a day of it and bring your lunch and relax on the beach along the Manasquan River, just across from the 48-acre island.
