In honor of the Jersey Shore Restaurant Week moving from November to April 16th – 25th, we’ve put together a 2021 Ocean Grove & Asbury Park dining guide to include those who are still open, about to open, and what services are available. Ocean Grove Dining Guide
Less than two hours south of New York City, Ocean Grove provides an authentic taste of the Jersey Shore. Our historic, seaside village offers everything from savory pies at Burbelmaiers to artisan sandwiches at Osteria Procaccini. No matter what you order, a trip to one of the best Ocean Grove, NJ, restaurants will have you coming back for more.
SeaGrass Restaurant
For fresh delicious seafood stop in at SeaGrass on Main Street. The festive, nautical decor pairs perfectly with dishes like baked East Coast cod, seared scallops, and New England clam chower. The rotating seasonal menu offers something new to try almost every time you go! They are BYOB, so remember to bring your own bottle of wine. No reservations required.
The Starving Artist at Days
As Ocean Grove’s longest established eatery, The Starving Artist at Days on Olin Street is another Ocean Grove favorite. Choose from a variety of breakfast and lunch items such as omelets, pancakes, salads, and wraps. (A post-lunch ice cream cone is also mandatory!) Enjoy your meal inside or on the lovely garden-facing patio in the summertime.
After being temporarily closed, they will reopen April 8, 2021, Thursdays through Sundays, from 8 AM to 2 PM.
Ocean Grove Bake Shoppe
Craving something sweet? Head to the Ocean Grove Bake Shoppe. This charming café makes their own muffins, pastries, cakes, and cookies. There’s even a specialty coffee bar! The Shoppe is open year-round. Plus, they now offer curbside pickup and now accept credit cards.
All-Star Bagel by the Beach
New Jersey residents love their bagels, and we are proud to serve our guests fresh bagels from All-Star Bagel every morning. (We also serve hot scrambled eggs, pork roll, and waffles!) The bagel shop is located on Main Street and they open at 7 AM.
Asbury Park dining guide
Just north of Ocean Grove is Asbury Park, a lively town known for its nightlife and entertainment. If you’re a foodie looking for a fix, check out Asbury Park’s lively culinary scene. Just north of Ocean Grove, Asbury park features rustic pizzerias, cozy seafood joints, and local food trucks waiting to surprise and delight.
Pascal & Sabine
Great food and a classic brasserie setting make Pascal & Sabine one of the most popular eateries on our Asbury Park dining guide. Enjoy classics including steak frites and coq au vin fill the menu. You’ll also find an extensive wine list, beer, and cocktails. Dine in only available.

Stella Marina Bar & Restaurant
It’s no secret that Jersey folks are crazy about Italian food and Stella Marina Bar & Restaurants is no exception. Enjoy homemade meatballs, slow-simmered gravy, and fresh pasta, all while gazing out at the ocean views from their outdoor patio.

Cubacan
Cubacan Restaurant & Bar is well-liked for its hip vibe, fabulous cocktails, and delicious Cuban cuisine. Indulge in the arroz con pollo with tender meat, saffron-flavored rice, peas, red peppers, and olives, or the classic Cuban sandwich.

TAKA
In the mood for sushi? TAKA is the place to go. This contemporary Japanese eatery serves up inventive appetizers, entrées, and a wide range of sushi rolls. TAKA even has a full-service bar and lounge for your late-night sushi and sake cravings.

Cross & Orange
Cross & Orange is a gastropub in the heart of downtown Asbury that offers upscale American fare made from scratch. While the eclectic menu changes each season, staples like the wild boar tacos always draw a crowd.

Iron Whale
The Iron Whale is one of the newest restaurants to hit the Asbury Park scene. Offering unique menu features such as a fish taco bar and a classic raw bar. The rustic yet modern atmosphere pairs nicely with the food and location on the boardwalk. They are open for brunch, lunch, and dinner.

Frank’s Deli & Restaurant
If you’re looking for Jersey classics like overstuffed sub sandwiches and pork roll, egg, and cheese, Frank’s is a must. A family-owned, cash-only luncheonette, this Asbury favorite offers some of the best grub in AP.
