Like the world-famous Stone Pony, Wonder Bar continues the tradition of offering original, live music on the Jersey Shore. It’s been associated with local legends like Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi, Clarence Clemons, and many others. The state-of-the-art sound system and large dance floor are perfect for those who want to dance the night away; and with an indoor/outdoor capacity of 2,000 patrons, this venue appeals to fans of all musical genres. Yappy Hour
If you’re traveling with a furry friend, you’re in luck! The Wonder Bar is dog-friendly and hosts Yappy Hour each week during the summer season. Simply head to the outside deck and enjoy food and drinks while your pup romps around in a large fenced-in area. You’ll find swimming pools, an agility course, and a special “time out” area for those who need to unwind. Dogs of all sizes are welcome Thursday through Sunday, and small dogs have their turn on Mondays.
Tillie
Did you know that one of the most recognizable Jersey Shore landmarks is painted on the Wonder Bar? The bar’s outside deck is named “Tillie’s Landing” after Tillie, a grinning mural that was originally located on the side of Palace Amusements. This amusement park “fun face” has been featured in movies, TV shows, magazines, and even a famous photo of Bruce Springsteen. Today, it can be seen at the Wonder Bar as well as on T-shirts, coffee mugs, car magnets, earrings, and more.
