When Is Jersey Shore Restaurant Week?
Restaurant Week takes place over the course of nine days in November and April. Dozens of restaurants participate each season, offering three-course meals (appetizer, entree, and dessert) at a discounted rate. For 2020, the Jersey Shore Restaurant Week will take place October 2-11 so that restaurants are able to take advantage of the wonderful fall weather with ample outdoor dining opportunities.

Chef’s Invitational Kick off event
Held on October 1st at the Spring Lake Manor, visitors can sample signature dishes from the top Jersey Shore chefs and restaurants. Enjoy a complimentary wine bar and live music. The event will be held outside for appropriate social distancing.
The Great Jersey Shore Burger Contest
Come out on October 10th for the Great Jersey Shore Burger contest and Craft Beer Fest. Held at Bar Anticipation in Lake Como, taste and see the top Jersey Shore restaurants compete for the title of “Best Burger at the Shore.” Along with live music, there will be an all Jersey line-up of craft beers for tasting. The event will be held outside for appropriate social distancing.
History of Restaurant Week
Jim Flynn, the Chairman of JSRW, travels the world looking for excellent places to eat. After visiting other towns that embrace the “Restaurant Week” concept, Flynn formed a committee and began organizing the first Jersey Shore Restaurant Week in 2009. The event drew 56 restaurants and thousands of people. Today, it’s one of the most anticipated events in the entire state.
