Top 5 Asbury Park Food Trucks

1. Seoul Fusion

Seoul Fusion burst onto the Asbury Park food truck scene in 2015. Showcasing a unique mix of Asian and Mexican flavors, chef Andrew Mazza’s dishes were immediately a hit. Guest favorites include the tofu tacos, bulgogi bites (deep-fried marinated sirloin with jalapeño cheddar sauce), and crinkle-cut fries topped with caramelized kimchi.

2. Johnny’s Pork Roll & Coffee Truck

While the rest of the state debates over whether it’s Taylor Ham or Pork Roll, we’ll be digging into a sandwich at Johnny’s. Owner John Yarusi is doing much more with this beloved breakfast meat than topping it with a fried egg and cheese. His first trick is to cook the pork roll until it’s nearly burned, making it crispy and flavorful. Then he sandwiches it between a few unexpected ingredients. Stop by and see the madness for yourself!

3. The Pocketful

What’s betta than feta? The Pocketful is a Mediterranean food truck that was inspired by owner Jack Rahmey’s grandmother, who was raised in Jerusalem. Whether you order the namesake Pocketful sandwich or the fried Eggplant Extravaganza, we promise you’ll leave feeling full and satisfied. The Pocketful is also a great option for those with dietary restrictions: many dishes are vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free.

4. Neapolitan Express

It’s no secret that Jersey folks take their pizza very seriously. So if you’re craving a slice, this is the place to get it! Neapolitan Express serves authentic Naples-style pizza right from their food truck. They even use organic, non-GMO ingredients! Not sure what to order? We recommend the Margherita pie made with San Marzano tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, basil and Parmigiano Reggiano. Or try the spicy A Diavolo that gets its heat from fresh jalapenos, soppressata salami, and honey infused with chili peppers. They even have a dessert pie topped with Nutella!

5. Igloo Italian Ice & Ice Cream

No trip to the Jersey Shore is complete without a frozen dessert. Igloo’s signature item is soft serve, but diners can choose from a variety of sweet treats including homemade ice cream pops, all-natural fresh fruit pops, Italian ices, and milkshakes. Don’t forget to ask for a heaping helping of sprinkles on top.
