Casual elegance abounds in this fourth floor suite which features a private balcony boasting magnificent views of the Atlantic and Ocean Pathway's charming Victorian architecture. The Stokes also provides a beautifully decorated private bedroom with custom hand painted mural head board, queen size bed and spacious sitting area with scenic ocean views. An adjoining room is comprised of a kitchenette including refrigerator, sink and coffee maker, a trundle bed (sleeps two) and an antique desk. Also included in this suite, a private bathroom with bath tub, shower and toiletries.
Guests enjoy plush linen and towels, heat and air conditioning with private thermostat, ceiling fan, cable TV, high speed wireless internet access, telephone, daily maid service. Hair dryers, irons and ironing boards are available upon request. In the summer months beach towels and discounted beach passes are available. Stokes indulges its visitors with their own private outdoor porch and beautiful ocean views
History: The Rev. Dr. E.H. Stokes was one of the founders and the first President of the Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Assoc. Rev. Stokes and his colleagues re-built the Great Auditorium in 1884 which at the time was the largest audience room of its kind in the United States and perhaps the largest in the world at a cost nearly $75,000.
